Gel Ice Pac Air Cushion Back®
A water based non toxic gel refrigerant sealed in a 120um low density polyethylene bag specifically designed with an air cushion back for shipping highly delicate temperature sensitive products and avoid superficial freezing.
Instructions for Use
Lay flat in a freezer at -15°C to -18°C until completely frozen and use.
If using for commercial transport/shipping of delicate food or medical products it is critical to place air cushion side towards product to avoid any superficial freezing. Place Gel Ice Pac Air Cushion Back® above food or medical products as cold air falls. For optimum cooling avoid dead spaces and place additional ice pacs at the bottom and along sides of the shipping container.
Frozen Gel Ice Pac Air Cushion Back® has the ability to maintain temperatures of perishables between 2°C to 16°C. To determine the amount of frozen Gel Ice Pac Air Cushion Backs® required to achieve this, we recommend that shipping and storage trials be conducted.
Gel Ice Pac Air Cushion Back® is available in various sizes.
